Often  depression, anxiety, self esteem, grief, anger, substance use, relationship difficulties and trauma, or simply not living up to our potential, may overwhelm our ability to cope.  Psychotherapy can help people to make profound connections to past and present, get people to become aware of their inner dialogue/critic and develop greater self/other compassion. Psychotherapy may also help people learn to be more mindful or present in their lives, and articulate  their feelings and needs more clearly.
